100 % Plastic
In this series, I invite you to embark on a thought-provoking journey into our paradoxical connection with plastic. Inspired by the alarming revelation that even recycling exacerbates the toxicity of this ubiquitous material, 100% Plastic explores the inescapable entanglement of humanity and synthetic polymers.

The very air I breathe is filled with microplastics, and the ground beneath my feet, a mosaic of discarded packaging, toys, and single-use items, embodies the plasticized world we have woven around ourselves.

Each photograph in this series unveils a facet of our plastic dependence, compelling us to confront the profound implications of our choices.

The paradoxical reality is that plastic both shelters and imprisons us. We are born into a world entwined with plastic, nurtured by its conveniences and shaped by its inventions. Yet, as we embrace its convenience, we inadvertently forge our chains, creating a relentless cycle that culminates in an eternal bond with this synthetic creation.

I challenge humanity to reevaluate our relationship with plastic. It is a testament to our creative prowess and adaptability as a species, yet it also reflects our destructive impact on the planet. We are not separate from plastic; we are bound to it, and in our quest for change, we must first acknowledge this truth.
T
his series serves as a powerful reminder that only through awareness, innovation, and collective action can we hope to untangle the complex web we have woven and chart a sustainable path towards a world less entangled in the grip of synthetic materials.
